Working principle of turbocharger

    Turbo system is one of the most common turbocharging systems in turbocharged engines.
    If, in the same unit time, a large amount of gas and fuel mixture can be forced into the cylinder (combustion chamber) to carry out compression combustion and explosion behavior (the engine with small displacement can "suck" the same gas as the large displacement to improve the volumetric efficiency), it can produce greater power output than the natural intake engine at the same speed. The situation is like you take an electric fan to blow into the cylinder, and force the wind to fill in, so as to increase the amount of air inside, so as to obtain greater horsepower. However, this fan is not driven by an electric motor, but driven by the exhaust gas discharged from the engine.
    Usually, the engine can increase at least 30% - 40% of the extra power after such a "forced intake" behavior. This shocking effect is the reason why the turbocharger is so popular. What's more, to get a good incineration efficiency and greatly improve the power is where the turbocharging system can provide greater value to the vehicle.
    Working principle of turbocharger
    The exhaust gas from the engine boosts the turbine impeller at the exhaust end of the turbine and makes it rotate. Thus, it can push the compressor impeller on the other side to run together. Therefore, the compressor impeller can forcibly suck gas from the air inlet and compress it through the operation of the blade, and then enter the compression channel with smaller and smaller pipe diameter for secondary compression. The compressed gas temperature will be higher than that directly sucked in. The compressed gas should be cooled by intercooler and then injected into the cylinder for incineration. This repetition is also how the turbocharger works.
