Diaphragm of vacuum booster push rod

The vacuum booster is a cavity with a relatively large diameter. There is a diaphragm (or piston) with a push rod in the middle, which separates the cavity into two parts. One part communicates with the atmosphere and the other part is connected with the engine intake pipe according to the pipe. It uses the principle of sucking air when the engine is working, resulting in a vacuum on one side of the booster, which is relative to the pressure difference of the normal air pressure on the other side, and uses this pressure difference to increase the braking thrust. If there is even a small pressure difference on both sides of the diaphragm, because the area of the diaphragm is relatively large, it can still produce a relatively large thrust to push the diaphragm to the end with low pressure. When braking, the vacuum booster system also controls the vacuum into the booster to move the diaphragm, and uses the push rod on the diaphragm to assist manpower to step on and push the brake pedal according to the intermodal device. Therefore: when the engine is off, because there is no intake vacuum, there is no assistance, and the manual force required for braking may be relatively large.
